Terms of Service
Last updated: September 24, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Modullum platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to comply with the rules set out here.
1. Acceptance of the terms
The Modullum platform is operated by Manuel Bento, as a sole trader. By registering, accessing or using the Modullum platform, you fully and unreservedly accept these Terms of Service and ourPrivacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the service.
2. Eligibility
The service is intended for users aged 16 or over. By creating an account, you declare that you meet this requirement and that the information provided is true, accurate and current.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs on it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You may not create false accounts, usernames that impersonate another person or entity, or that infringe third-party rights.
4. The service
Modullum lets you create, customise and publish professional portfolios. The service is provided “as is” and may be changed, suspended or discontinued, in whole or in part, at any time.
When you publish a portfolio, you make it publicly available at yourusername.modullum.comaddress, accessible to anyone on the internet. You are responsible for the content you make public at that address.
5. Plans, payments and subscriptions
The service offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. The features and content limits of each plan are described and presented on the site. We may change the features, limits and prices of plans at any time, on reasonable prior notice. Price changes do not affect the amount already paid for the current subscription period.
Pro plan payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. By subscribing to the Pro plan, you authorise recurring charges for the applicable amount (monthly or yearly), as indicated at the time of subscription. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time through the account panel (billing portal) or by contacting us.
When you cancel the subscription, access to Pro features continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Thereafter the plan reverts to Free and your content is subject to that plan's limits. If you do not renew the Pro plan, the portfolio stays published within the Free plan limits. Refunds are governed by ourrefund policyand by the refund policy applicable to Paddle.
6. User content
You retain ownership of all content you publish. By publishing content on your portfolio, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, reproduce and publicly display it, solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish. The content must not violate laws, third-party rights, or the acceptable use rules set out below.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Disseminate illegal, fraudulent, defamatory or offensive content;
- Infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
- Transmit viruses, malware or any malicious code;
- Attempt to access accounts or systems without authorisation;
- Overload, disrupt or otherwise degrade the service.
This section summarises the main rules. The full list, including the specific prohibitions that apply to what you publish, is in the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Modullum, including the brand, design, software and visual elements of the platform, is owned by Modullum or its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service, which does not constitute an assignment of any intellectual property rights.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or cancel your access to the service, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if it is necessary to protect the platform and its users. You may cancel your account at any time, which will result in the removal of your portfolio and associated data.
10. Third-party links
The service may contain links to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party sites.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of availability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
